Building the institutions that outlast the funding cycle.
I design and run incubation programmes for green-economy founders working in informal markets — where the standard playbook usually breaks. Currently building the Westerwelle Startup Haus in Accra as Ghana Country Director, alongside consulting work with GFA's Digital Innovation Unit.

From scholarship holder to institution builder
My work sits at the intersection of circular economy, waste valorisation, and early-stage incubation in emerging-market settings — with a bias toward operations and supply chains over material science. Eleven-plus years leading programmes across Ghana and the region, ten of them inside donor-funded development cooperation with GIZ, the EU, BMZ, and USAID.
Founded Technology Without Borders Ghana
Set up the Ghana branch, expanded it to five regions, and transitioned the management team so it kept running without the founders — it still operates today.
Co-founded Recycle Up! Ghana
Started as a scholarship-funded fellow and built RUG into a circular-economy organisation working directly with informal waste supply chains — now over a decade running, having raised €1.2M+.
MSc Sustainable Development & incubation training
Joint Masters across Leipzig, Utrecht, and Stellenbosch Universities, followed by a semester incubation programme for social entrepreneurship at the Watson Institute, Colorado.
Built and led incubation programmes across Ghana
Senior Programs Officer at ISEES advising the Sustainability Hub; Lead Consultant on WUSC's WAGES green-product training for women and youth; Co-Team Lead on the EU-funded SNV GrEEn Incubation & Acceleration Project, taking 32 startups across 4 cohorts through business model development, prototyping, and market entry.
Widened into strategy & policy consulting
Feasibility work for the EU–Africa Chamber of Commerce's planned Accra office; committee member designing the SDG Youth Accelerator Fund with the Ban Ki-Moon Centre for Global Citizens.
Ghana Country Manager / Digital Innovation Consultant, GFA
Ghana representative for GFA Consulting Group, leading acquisition and project delivery. Designed a digital-solutions ideas challenge for women-led entrepreneurs and MSMEs for GIZ, and co-authored the published Gender-Responsive Toolkits for Digital Innovation Hubs and Workshop Organizers.
Ghana Country Director, Westerwelle Foundation
Leading the ground-up setup of the Westerwelle Startup Haus in Accra, alongside continued consulting work with GFA's Digital Innovation Unit.

Case studies
Prototype-first incubation
A sequencing fix for a specific failure mode: canvas-first incubation assumes founders can absorb an unfunded training cost before seeing any return. Prototype-first flips the order — founders build a physical product from local waste material first, and the business model follows. Piloted through the RUG Hub and validated at scale through the SNV GrEEn Incubation & Acceleration Project.
Westerwelle Startup Haus, Accra
Currently leading the ground-up setup as Ghana Country Director — translating the Westerwelle network's global model into a programme fit for Accra's founder ecosystem.
GFA Digital Innovation Unit
Ghana Country Manager and Digital Innovation Consultant leading acquisition, delivery, and stakeholder relationships. Designed a digital-solutions ideas challenge for women-led entrepreneurs and MSMEs for GIZ, onboarded six intermediaries across six regions, and co-authored the published Gender-Responsive Toolkits for Digital Innovation Hubs and Workshop Organizers.
A decade of applied waste and circularity consulting
Alongside RUG, a run of engagements applying the same operational lens to specific waste and circularity problems: a roadmap for phasing out single-use plastics with GIZ Ghana's Go Circular project; a Zero Plastic Waste community model for New Takoradi with Pyxera Global; recycling-project audits and capacity building with rePurpose Global; and green-business curriculum design with ISEES' Sustainability Hub.
